Maera Jewellery Return, Exchange & Warranty Policy

At Maera Jewellery, your satisfaction is our top priority. To ensure a seamless experience, please review our policies on returns, exchanges, warranty, and ring sizing below.

Refund & Exchange Policy

  • Custom Orders: As all custom designs are unique to you, they are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

  • Canada: For Ready to Ship rings, we offer a refund if returned within 14 days of receipt. The ring must be returned in its original packaging, unworn, and in new condition. Refunds will be processed after the item has been inspected. Shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Sri Lanka: For Ready to Ship rings, we offer a 14-day exchange policy. The item must be unworn and returned in its original packaging. Returns and exchanges will be processed after inspection.

  • Europe: For Ready to Ship rings, we offer a refund if returned within 14 days of receipt. The ring must be unworn, in its original packaging, and in new condition. Refunds will be processed after inspection. Shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • U.S. and International Orders: All sales for U.S. and international orders are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges. Please review your order carefully before confirming your purchase. Custom and Made to Order rings are also final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Conditions for Return/Exchange

To ensure a smooth return or exchange, kindly adhere to the following conditions:

  • The item must be in new and unused condition, without any signs of wear or alteration.
  • Please return the item with all original packaging, including the Maera box, delivery packaging, accessories, certificates, and invoices.
  • Items that have been modified, engraved, etched, or altered in any way will not be eligible for return.
  • Adjusted bangles, bracelets, and chains: If you’ve requested any adjustments, the item must be returned with the exact number of links as in the original package.

Please note that all returns and exchanges will be closely examined by our management team to ensure that the conditions outlined above are met. Only items that meet these conditions will be considered eligible for return or exchange.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To start the return or exchange process, please reach out to us at info@maerajewellery.com. We will provide detailed instructions to guide you through the process.

Important Information

  • Warranty: All Maera Jewellery pieces come with a standard warranty. If your item is defective due to a manufacturing fault, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost.
  • Day Count for Returns: The 14-day period begins from the date the item is received by you or collected.

Warranty Policy

Maera Jewellery offers a 1-year warranty on all products, covering any manufacturing defects. Our warranty includes the following:

  • Accent Stones (Diamonds under 0.01 Ct): If any of the accent diamonds under 0.1 Ct are found defective within the warranty period, we will replace the stones at no cost.
  • Center Stones: Due to the unique nature of each sapphire stone, any replacement center stone will closely match the original in terms of quality, cut, and appearance. The cost of the stone will be covered by you, but no labor charges will apply for the replacement.

Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover:

  • Wear and Tear: Normal wear, including scratches or chips to stones, is not covered.
  • Loss of Stones Due to Trauma: Loss or damage caused by trauma, misuse, or accidents is not covered.
  • Loss or Theft: The warranty does not cover the loss or theft of the jewellery.

To ensure the longevity of your jewellery, we recommend annual maintenance, including polishing and stone checks. For detailed care instructions, please visit our Jewellery Care Page.

Repairs Outside Warranty

For repairs outside of warranty coverage, please reach out to us at info@maerajewellery.com. We will provide a personalized quote based on the nature of the repair.

Ring Sizing

If your ring does not fit perfectly, we offer complimentary resizing. Please contact us at info@maerajewellery.com within 7 days of receiving your order to arrange for resizing.

For resizing requests in Sri Lanka, all resizing services are free for basic bands, allowing adjustments up or down by 2 sizes (in increments of 0.5 sizes). This offer does not apply to bands with stones.
